Description
The Mercatus Tefcold blast chiller Y5 can be used as either a blast chiller/freezer or a storage chiller/freezer so it is adaptable to suit your requirements. It accepts up to 5 GN 1/1 size trays/pans in blast mode and up to 10 1/1 GN trays/pans as a storage cabinet. Soft and hard chill programs are also available to suit the product and can be used with timed or probe settings for bringing the product down to temperature. The Tefcold blast chiller automatically switches to holding/storage mode at the end of a blast cycle. All are accessed through a simple-to-use controller, however, the drip tray must be manually emptied or plumbed into a permanent drain.
