The high heat retention of cast iron grids means there is no waiting for the grill to recover to cooking temperature. Hinging interlocked elements and an integral water bath makes cleaning easier. An integral splashguard with a water funnel enables the refilling of the tank without cooling the cooking grid. A water bath provides humidity, keeps food succulent, and reduces shrinkage. High-temperature safety cut out for protection if the water bath runs dry. The Lincat electric countertop chargrill comes with two more upgraded models, ECG9 and ECG9-WT. While the ECG9 has more power and is wider in length, the ECG9-WT has a water connection for convenient use.
