Description

Food waste typically represents around 40% of total commercial catering waste. Of this 40%, approximately 77% is liquid. This Macerator and Food Waste Dewaterer Station grind the food into fine particles, these particles feed directly into the built-in dewatering system. Through centrifugal action, the waste station forces out the excess liquid from the macerated waste.

This “grey water” is fed directly to the drain while the resulting solid fraction of food waste is collected in small, lidded bins for onward processing.

IMC

Imperial Machine Company (IMC) has been engineering catering solutions for more than 110 years. They have designed, installed and supported catering products for foodservice operations for generations; a fact we at IMC are immensely proud of. After many years of being family run IMC was purchased by the Middleby Corporation. The challenges and demands may have changed, but the company ethos is the same, provide high quality catering solutions supported by passionate, knowledgeable and hard working staff. They pride ourselves on their ability to provide bespoke solutions to our customers. They don’t compromise on design, and they don’t have to. Evolving product designs and increased production demand has led to a massive review of their manufacturing techniques which has led to reduced product lead times. This has enabled IMC to maintain their flexibility, continue to react to the customers needs immediately whilst also increasing production and growing the business. You don’t spend a century in this business without picking up a few things along the way. In fact, that’s what sets IMC apart.
